Matt Eller, PT, MPT, ATC, CMT

Matt grew up in Northern California around a wide variety of sports & outdoor activities. He attended CSU Chico to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, as well as an Athletic Training Certification. He received a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from UC San Francisco, graduating in 1996. Matt has over 30 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy & sports medicine. He has completed a certification in Manual Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. He has thoroughly enjoyed serving our active & athletic community over many years, providing rehab services for out local high schools & colleges. He, along with his spouse, Julie, own Avail. He enjoys teaching students & is proud to have witnessed countless students excel in their chosen field. He has helped countless patients return to their favorite sport or activity. He loves hiking & mountain biking in Bidwell Park with his friends & family, as well as traveling. He loves being part of our amazing Chico community.

Zane Ferguson, PT, DPT

Zane was born and raised in Chico, where he grew up with a passion for sports and the outdoors. His journey in physical therapy began at Avail Physical Therapy in 2014 when he volunteered as a then high school senior. Zane worked at Avail for 5 years as an Aide while he pursued his bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Exercise Science at Chico State. Afterward, Zane moved to San Diego for PT school at the University of St. Augustine, where he graduated in 2022. Upon returning to Chico, he started working at Avail as a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Zane is deeply committed to assisting patients of all ages in reducing their pain, enhancing their strength, and fostering confidence in their physical abilities. When he's not helping individuals return to their favorite activities, he enjoys boating, mountain biking, and traveling with his wife, Catie and his dog, Hazy!

Julie Eller, PT, MPT

Julie grew up in Northern California and has remained a Chico resident for the last 25 years establishing
Avail Physical Therapy in 2004, along with her spouse Matt. She graduated from the California State
University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science, followed by a Master’s program
in Physical Therapy at Fresno State. Julie has over 30 years experience working in the outpatient
orthopedic setting as a licensed physical therapist. Julie has completed her Manual Therapy Certification
from the University of St. Augustine. She has completed many physical therapy evidence based courses
specializing in the spine, sacroiliac joint, pelvis, nerve pain, Pilates. Julie has remained an American
Physical Therapy Association member since 1993. Julie has held a 20 year roll in mentoring/teaching our
local youth that inspire to work in the medical/physical therapy profession. Julie loves being part of our
Chico community and spending time with her sports loving family, Avail family & friends, volunteering,
traveling, hiking, and mountain biking.

Kyle Mache, PT, DPT

Raised in Corning, CA, Kyle was born into a athletic oriented family driving his passion to become physical therapist. Kyle began his physical therapy experience right here at Avail as an aide in 2005, while finishing his Bachelor of Science degree of Exercise Physiology at Chico State. He was accepted into the Azusa Pacific University Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and became a licensed PT in 2014. Kyle brings a fresh breadth of knowledge of current evidence based rehabilitation treatment and protocols to the Avail clinic who loves helping clients reach there goals. Outside the clinic Kyle is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing and loves watching sports especially his San Francisco Giants
